Too whit ... Tuwoo ;-)

I'm sure that quite a few of you know about the little application that I started programming months ago. I called it Tuwoo, it was supposed to be similar to Twitter (www.twitter.com) but I changed my mind about it a few days ago and have been thinking about it quite a lot. I have decided to rather change the function of Tuwoo into a ToDo list type application. I feel that there is a need, and anyway if there isn't I will still use it. (cheeky huh?) :-)

So what will Tuwoo do that other online Web 2.0 project management or todo list apps do? Well, pretty much, not much - I don't think that there is any feature that is different, the only different feature is that this will be dedicated to making lists and will not be bloated with tonnes of features that people never use.

Why am I working on it? Because a few days ago I was in need of a really simple ToDo list, but i couldn't think of one off hand that was simple to use? Then I thought that I had the perfect platform with which to play around with.

Tuwoo is built on PHP/MySQL, so unlike Twitter it shouldn't die, and I am working on a really nice skin that should be easy on the eyes.

I am working on it constantly, but if you like there should be a development version here www.espresso-online.info/tuwoo. I will be moving it off my domain if it takes off.

Please tell me what you think of the project, as well as if you would like to join the project (yes i am inviting you to help me develop this thing). If you would like to join the project, please contact me, either by commenting on this post, or by contacting me on this email address jonathan.wagener@gmail.com.

Have a nice evening. :-)
