Its been a while, hasn't it?

Its been a long time, hasn't it? I thought I should write something so that you don't think that maybe I passed away or something. Heh.

So what have I been doing during the time that I have been silent, well nothing interesting actually. I have been working on a large project and am about to move onto another largish project. All Drupal of course, which is really nice.

Swiss researchers have demonstrated a variety of ways to eavesdrop on the sensitive messages computer users type by monitoring their wired keyboards. At least 11 models using a wide range of connection types are vulnerable.

The researchers from the Security and Cryptography Laboratory at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne are able to capture keystrokes by monitoring the electromagnetic radiation of PS/2, universal serial bus, or laptop keyboards. They've outline four separate attack methods, some that work at a distance of as much as 65 feet from the target.

A. I am busy redesigning the site. I did not like the old look very much. It looked far to blog like and I am trying to point this site in a more Magazine type website.

Anyway, I should have the site ready by Monday.

tuwoo update

righto, I have practicaly rewritten beta 1 of tuwoo. it is not much better. i have added the add note form to the top of the page. so now it looks a little bit like twitter's old design. If you are a user go and have a little look.

tuwoo - what am i doing?

Some people have asked me what I am doing with Tuwoo, as it started out as a Twitter type clone system. Well I got bored of trying to write a Twitter clone as it seems a little superfluous. I mean, what is the point - everyone uses Twitter (even though we all moan) and I do not really see that changing anytime soon. Why would someone use my system when all of their friends are using Twitter??

i have been spouting about tuwoo for months now, but i have finally released beta 1. You can have a look here: www.espresso-online.info/tuwoo.

I have changed the function of the app to make it very simple, it is now similar to something like pastebin.com, just that the notes/lists are protected.

I am thinking about adding some form of sharing sometime in the near future, but i am still contemplating as to how best to implement it.

FormAPI Class Library

I think that somewhere in this blog of mine i have told you that i am writing a FormAPI Class Library. I started with it when i was working on Tuwoo (which is still not done), but last night i deciced that i would rewrite it completely from scratch and release it as an open-source stand-alone class library (i may add this to a framework that i am slowly putting together).

Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

I have been looking at Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 OWA (Outlook Web Access) today. We use Ms Exchange Server 2003 in our office, havnt gotten round to updating to the latest version, one of the problems being that we would need to update our server to an x64 version of Ms Small Business Server.
